Virtual Gambling – A Few Things You Need To Know

Ah yes, there is virtual reality and it is beginning to transition into virtual gambling. This has become the new trend now that everything has almost become virtual. For most people, virtual gambling has become a favorite past time and this is true regardless of the nature of income one has or of his gender and social status.

The truth is, gambling has been existing for many centuries already. It has been here for almost 2,000 years. Gambling is also not all about money before. You can bet personal possessions and everything in between. It is not however new to new and modern improvements. Today, there is so much improvement that it has even turned virtual, meaning, it is done with almost the same aspect as gambling but it is online or via internet.

The term virtual here cannot be interpreted as mere illusory. It simply means gambling through the use of technological innovations like streaming and internet. This means that instead of going into the casino to bet personally, you can take advantage of betting online and winning in the same way as you’re personally there. It works while you are in the comfort of your own home but with the joy and excitement like you’re actually there.

There are a lot of choice when you play game virtually. Like the amenities and equipment you normally see in casinos, you will see the same type of choices in virtual gaming. Choices are actually diverse that you will certainly find it difficult to choose sometimes.

But aside from the traditional games you see on a regular casino, you will see a number of gaming innovations in virtual gambling. It includes world cups, Saturday matches, reality TV shows and virtually everything which can ask for betting money. What’s good with it is that there is virtually anything you can find and can bet from.

If you ask if it is ever safe then you are assured that it is. It is a safe and fun environment because it is really hard to cheat online. And since no one sees you, it adds spice to the word “fun”. This alone makes people get allured, tempted and made most to get addicted. One can start with free online gaming so he can start dipping his toe into it. It is a great way to try and learn the ins and outs. After getting used to it, you can start customizing some of the features and way of betting.

Today, people no longer stay late in casinos. The then wrong impression one gets when entering a casino is now avoided and one can bet almost anytime before their computers. Virtual gambling has really joined the virtual revolution and for people who are really fan of it, it has really become a great way to get a very convenient way of betting and winning its stakes.

Causes of Divorce – The Three A’s

There are probably as many causes of divorce as there are individuals divorcing. Only the couple themselves can really make the decision as to whether it is genuinely “irretrievably broken.”

I would submit that there are three key areas that encompass the most of the real causes of divorce – the “3 A’s – Adultery, Abuse, and Addiction.”

Adultery is one of the leading underlying causes of divorce in this country. According to the electronic article “Adultery: Statistics on Cheating Spouses,” published by Eagle’s Nest Publications, “60-70 percent of adultery victims are women” while “30-40 percent of adultery victims are men.” In various countries adultery is illegal. In the United States, adultery is only legally recognized as grounds for divorce in a couple of states. However, adultery is usually one of the top reasons cited for divorce. This is not a new behavior, but modern technology, readily available sex partners and societal apathy seems to foster the behavior. There are many couples who have been able to survive an adulterous affair and rebuild a marriage, but this is usually a challenging process and takes a great deal of commitment. If the couple are not each focused on rebuilding a relationship of fidelity and trust, the marriage will likely not survive as a healthy relationship.

Abuse has so many faces, that it really is a study in and of itself. Perhaps it will suffice to say that abusive behaviors do not go away just because they are exposed to the light of day. Abuse, be it emotional, physical, sexual, or any combination, takes counseling and sincere and focused work and commitment to change. It often requires significant counseling and the work of a twelve step program to come to self-mastery. And, very often the abused cannot risk staying until the abuser masters herself or himself.

Addictions lead many people to become so dependent on a behavior or a substance that they no longer see how to abstain from it. These addictions – whether it be physical, such as drugs, alcohol, pornographic or sexual addictions, emotional, such as eating disorders, gambling or shopaholism, or other addictions, interfere with an individual’s abilities to place their priorities on their marriage and family relations. Everything becomes secondary. And as with abuse, the other spouse may not choose to endure the fallout in hopes that the addicted party can become sober from their addiction and remain so.

There are powerful 12-Step programs available that address the whole gamut of addictions, including pornography and sexual addictions, as well as substance abuse and gambling. Many psychologists and other mental health professionals suggest that these addictions are only mastered and controlled through a 12 step program, based on the original Alcoholics Anonymous model. Where there is addiction, there are victims of those addictions within the family, and healing best occurs if those victims of the addictions seek counseling and help as well as the addict himself/herself.

There are avenues of trying to deal with each of these problems, if both parties are determined to work at the solutions. In the short term, it may seem the more difficult choice. Often it does not work because the spouses are not equally committed to building a relationship that will survive.

Hooray for the Legit Hall of Fame!

Yeah NBA. They did the right thing. “The Worm” will turn into a Hall of Famer (I hope) in August of 2011.

Baseball Hall of Fame, farce. Until Pete Rose is in there the MLB Hall is illegitimate. I am not a “Charlie Hustle” fan. But the all time hits leader, c’mon. If they want to have an additional “Hall of Shame”, then Pete could be in there also.

Football Hall of Fame, farce. Kickers should wear dresses, so they don’t get in. Well linemen say quarterbacks should also wear dresses and plenty of QBs got in. Kickers are odd so they don’t get in. Well until the Guy gets in the NFL Hall is a farce. Ray Guy should be in with his odd teammates (like “The Snake” Stabler should be also). Ray not only changed games with his punting, he also controlled and won games. No I’m not a Raiders fan, though I do respect them for being the first wild card team to win it all. At least Jan Stenerud, field goal kicker, got in. Ray was in more Pro Bowls than Jan was.

‘Nough said on that.

So the NBA will induct Dennis Rodman into their Hall of Fame even though he wore a dress instead of a tux. Remember? It was a beautiful white wedding dress. Dennis, a tattoo artist’s meal ticket. Dennis, gambling addict. Dennis Outrageous. Even Michael Jordan (who barely snuck into the Hall) and Phil Jackson could not control the court jester “Worm”. This guy was unbelievable. Talk about a nose for the ball. He was 6′ 7″, big compared to you and me; not big under the hole though. There are not a whole lot of guys with 7.3 points per game in the NBA Hall. That’s Dennis’s career average in points scored. Six times he averaged over 15 rebounds per game. Seven times he averaged over 5 offensive rebounds per game, giving his team another chance to score. Twice he averaged over 18 ‘bounds a game. Career average over 13. Since 1998, when Rodman retired, one time a guy averaged over 15 rebounds per game in a season. Dennis almost did it seven years in a row! (He had a 14.9 that ruined it.) Tell you what, they say M. J. doesn’t win his six titles without Scotty Pippen. Well, that may well be. But “Air Jordan” might just say that he couldn’t have done it without the out-of-control “Worm” for 3 years.

Well deserved Dennis. I didn’t think the NBA would do what was right.

NBA you are legitimate…

…and also the best to bet on. If you got nerves of steel. “I’m ahead, I’m behind, I’m ahead, I’m behind.” And a 20 point lead is nothing.

Bets and Terminology for Beginners

Betting is a very widespread and regular phenomenon especially in United States. In the world of sports betting has not left any game untouched. Be it cricket, horse racing, football, basketball… betting has laid its hands over all of them.

Though almost half of the country’s population is consciously infected by the betting syndrome, yet there are no thoughts by the government to legalize it in any form or the other. The only place where it has been made legal is the state of Nevada. The state has made collegiate gambling, which is one of the most execrable forms of betting. Betting on sports in colleges not just deteriorates the healthy atmosphere an spirit with which the game is played but also ruins the trustworthy sportsmanship of the players. The college players themselves wager and try to play the game in accordance to win their wager. They are not motivated by the team or game spirit but by the money they might receive on winning the bet. NCAA has revealed that most often it is the college athletes more inclined to betting and point shaving as compared to professional sportsmen. Point shaving refers to the poor and awful performance that players make on the field in order to have a particular point spread.

There are various types of bets and betting terminologies. Some of the most frequent types of bets are- Point Spread, Money Lines, Parlays and Pari- mutual etc. These bets vary from game to game, in their terms and conditions and the style of betting. It is better to learn the different techniques and rules for these bets before you wager.

Nowadays betting can also be done online. The government has put up limitations here too in the form of the ‘Wire Act’. This act limited online gambling within the walls of a state. In other words, the Wire Act made it illicit to cross a state line for the purpose of gambling. However this act even like several others stands in effective in detaining gamblers from gambling in the manner they desire to do.

The gamblers can do anything to prevent their gambling industry from fading in the hands of government. They do anything and everything to find favors from the government. Most often this is done by time and again stuffing the pockets of the party members with huge amount of money.

But a gambler fails to realize that the government is not at loss. It is he himself who loses and suffers the most. Betting is nothing else but gambling with one’s money. It is devastating addiction. A pathological gambler cannot resist from gambling whatsoever his economic condition may be. He can stoop to any extent to obtain money for betting. He can lie, steal and even murder anyone for it. The idea of once winning a large bet is always playing on his mind. The entire family and friends of a pathological gambler face repercussions of the adverse situations so created by him.

The lust for money is never ending, it is better to be satisfied with the little that you have than to pine for more and lose even that!

Codependency Is Sneaky and Powerful

Focusing thinking and behavior around someone else is a sign of codependency. We react to something external, rather than our own internal cues. Addicts are codependent, too. Their lives revolve around their addiction – be it food, work, drugs, or sex.

Codependency derived from the term “co-alcoholic,” originating in studies of family members of substance abusers who interfered with recovery by enabling.

Family therapists found that their codependent behavior developed in their childhood growing up in a dysfunctional family. In the 40s, German psychoanalyst and humanist Karen Horney wrote about neurotic behavior caused by self-alienation. She described personality types that fit codependency and believed that they resulted from faulty parenting and the “tyranny of the shoulds.”

The 12-step program Codependents Anonymous (CoDA) was founded in 1986 by Ken and Mary, two therapists who had grown up in abusive families.

Definitions

Codependency is considered a disorder in the American Psychiatric Association, due to lack of consensus on a definition and empirical research. However, the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders does list a dependent personality disorder, described as someone more passive, submissive, and dependent than most codependents. In 1989, experts at a National Conference arrived at a suggested definition: “A pattern of painful dependency on compulsive behaviors and on approval from others in an attempt to find safety, self-worth and identity.” Other definitions by experts in the field include:

* Melody Beattie: Allowing another person’s behavior to affect him or her and obsessing

about controlling that person’s behavior.

* Earnie Larsen: A diminished capacity to initiate, or participate in, loving relationships.

* Robert Subby: Resulting from prolonged exposure to oppressive rules.

* John Bradshaw & Pia Melody: A symptom of abandonment – a loss of ones inner reality and an addiction to outer reality.

* Sharon Wegscheider-Cruse: A brain disorder that leads codependents to seek the relief of soothing brain chemicals, which are released through compulsive behaviors, including addiction to work, substances, gambling, food, sex, and/or relationships.

* Charles Whitfield: A disease of a lost selfhood.

Beattie’s and Larsen’s definition centers on relationship behavior. I agree with Bradshaw, Melody, and Whitfield that codependency resides in us whether or not we’re in a relationship. I also agree with Wegscheider-Cruse that addicts are codependent and that relief is sought through substances, processes, and people. However, unlike Cruse, I believe codependency is learned behavior that’s trans-generational. Other influences are cultural and religious biases. Although research shows that some teens had brain abnormalities even before they became drug addicts, their twins did not become addicted, so the full impact of genetic and organic causes is still unclear, particularly in view of the brain’s plasticity in adolescence.

Core Feelings and Behavior

Codependent feelings and behavior vary in degree on a continuum. Like a disease and addiction, if untreated symptoms become compulsive and worsen in stages over time.

Core feelings include:

  • Denial
  • Low Self-esteem
  • Painful emotions: Shame, Guilt, Anger and Resentment, Anxiety, Depression
  • Core Behaviors include:

  • Dependency
  • Intimacy problems
  • Dysfunctional communication
  • Dysfunctional boundaries
  • Control of oneself and/or others (includes Caretaking)
  • Core feelings and behaviors create other problems, such as, people-pleasing, self-doubt, mistrust, perfectionism, high-reactivity, enabling, and obsessions. Codependents are usually more attuned to other people’s needs and feelings than their own. To quell anxiety about rejection, they try to accommodate others, while ignoring their own needs, wants, and feelings. As a result, they tend to lose their autonomy, particularly in intimate relationships. Over time, their self-worth declines due to self-alienation and/or allowing others to devalue them.

Codependents have varied personalities, and symptoms differ in type and severity among them. They also have diverse attachment styles. Not all are caretakers or are even in a relationship. Some seek closeness, while others avoid it. Some are addicts, bullies, selfish, and needy, or may appear independent and confident, but they attempt to control, or are controlled by, a personal relationship or their addiction. Sometimes that relationship is with an addict or narcissist. A relationship that is one-sided or marked by addiction or abuse is a sign of codependency. But not all codependent relationships are one-sided or abusive.

    Recovery

Untreated codependency can lead to severe anxiety, depression, and health problems. There is help for recovery and change. Recovery goes through stages that normalize codependent symptoms. The goal of recovery is to be a fully functioning adult who is:

  • Authentic
  • Autonomous
  • Capable of intimacy
  • Assertive and congruent in expression of values, feelings, and needs
  • Flexible without rigid thinking or behavior
  • Become informed. Get guidance and support. Codependent patterns are deeply ingrained habits and difficult to identify and change on your own. It often takes an experienced third party to identify them and to suggest alternative beliefs and responses. Therapy and 12-Step meetings provide this. In recovery, you will:

  • Come out of denial
  • Let go of others
  • Build an autonomous Self
  • Raise your self-esteem
  • Find pleasure – develop friends, hobbies
  • Heal past wounds
  • Learn to be assertive and set boundaries
  • Pursue larger goals and passions
  • Self-Help and Therapy

Codependency is highly recoverable, but requires effort, courage, and the right treatment. A therapist should be knowledgeable in treating codependency, shame, and self-esteem, as well as be able to teach healthier behavioral and communication skills. Cognitive-behavior therapy is effective in raising self-esteem and changing codependent thinking, feelings, and behavior. In some cases, trauma therapy is also indicated.

Recovery can generate more anxiety, so it’s important to maintain a self-help support system such as, Al-Anon or CoDA 12-Step programs to build self-esteem and become more assertive.

    Is Pleasure an Addiction?

When I naïvely asked the above question over a very pleasurable lunch with my friends, I got the following not very pleasurable reactions:

“Give me a break-having a few drinks after shopping for a couple hours is an addiction?”

“Are you telling us that having a good time addictive?”

My answer: “Okay, guys, what do you expect me to do, here” -leave, or explain what I was trying to say?”

Their response: “You’re addicted to explanations, anyway, so go ahead and clarify your statement.”

    What is pleasure?

Pleasure is “A feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment, or an event or activity from which one derives enjoyment.”

Here’s my question for you: What do you really enjoy a lot?

Video games? Gambling? Drinking alcohol? Eating sugary foods? Shopping? Using street drugs? Cheating on your partner? Watching TV endlessly… watching porn or scary movies?

All of the above could become addictions.

    Why?

Because they give you pleasure; they stimulate the brain’s pleasure centre.

Any kind of stimulation of the pleasure centre releases massive amounts of dopamine, which is a neurotransmitter and a neurohormone produced in the brain.

Don’t stimulate your brain’s pleasure centre too often-you can wear it out! The intense and repeated release of dopamine will damage the receptors in your brain and cause them to tire of stimulation.

We people like dopamine very much. In the field of science, dopamine is called “the pleasure neurotransmitter.” With adequate amounts of dopamine, we feel good, happy, and satisfied.

And what’s wrong with that? Nothing, really… except that many illegal drugs and the other things people enjoy, such as those mentioned above, also target with the brain’s pleasure receptors, releasing dopamine and contributing to possible addiction.

Individuals who are addicted engage in the process of releasing dopamine even if they know it’s bad for them.

The brain’s pleasure centre can be damaged not only by overuse but by toxins or head trauma, as well. The result is the same.

After a while, an individual will need more stimulation or more extended periods of intense stimulation just to release adequate amounts of dopamine. What follows this overuse is that the brain’s pleasure centre will be less responsive.

Translated, less responsive simply means that the brain will produce less dopamine.

    But we do need dopamine-right?

Yes, we do. However, when less dopamine is released, a person may be headed for depression or for an addiction to the original stimulus (e.g., nicotine, drugs, alcohol).

In the beginning, a person turns to “pleasure”; after the brain’s pleasure receptors are overused for a period of time, however, he or she is at risk for addiction.

In light of the information I’ve just shared, is the question, “Is pleasure an addiction” a valid one? The answer is a definite “yes,” since any overuse of pleasure can lead to addiction.

Of course, it’s important to enjoy the things you love-doing so makes for a happy and satisfying life. However, as the saying goes, “All things in moderation.” If you keep this in mind, you’ll steer clear of the path to addiction.

Free Online Poker Sign Up Bonus Codes: Important Things to Know

For those people who want to make more money, gambling can be a good choice for them. It gives enormous pleasure and, at times, even a windfall of cash. There are about 2000 online poker games on the internet available for winning extra cash. First, you have to sign up to play a game, for completing this; the site will give you some bonus money that is called an online poker bonus. This is not a joke; however, the online poker bonus that is given by the website depends up on the listings and the game you select.

Playing poker is a good way to waste time for most players, but there are many people who play to win and this can be addictive. Poker is a good entertainment source as long as it is just time pass, but it is dangerous to get addicted to gambling. Remember this before you decide to jump into the world of playing poker for cash.

Play poker on the internet for free and you can still receive that bonus. How? There are a number of websites, which endorse their gambling site by giving introductory offers such as online poker bonus or sign up bonus so that you can get access to their games and bet with real money, without paying anything. In theory, what they are doing is offering you the chance to play at their site without risking you money up front. Beware, however, that this ploy is very effective in getting you to deposit your own cash eventually.

Today, there are numerous websites promoting these free online poker games–but you will get the online poker bonus only for a limited period after registration, however they offer you lots of excitement while playing these poker games. To increase your fun, as well as their profits, they offer you the online poker bonus starting at around a few hundred dollars.

Be sure that you know what you are getting into before you agree to accept the online poker bonus that is offered when you sign up on a site. This is a ploy that is designed to get you to deposit your money into their bank account. If, however, you are comfortable with your poker skills and feel that you are indeed ready to play for money, why not use their bonus to get you started? You never know, the couple of hundred dollars that they give you may be turned into double that for your wallet.

Non-12 Step Drug Rehab Vs 12 Step Rehab And The Relation To Pornography

Years ago I recall reading a medical paper that was studying the effects of 12 step treatment on various types of addiction. It fascinated me as I was just becoming an interventionist and realizing the fact that 12 step treatment was being used as group therapy for almost everything. A very wide spectrum exists but some common examples include treating people addicted to drugs and alcohol, people with addictions to gambling, compulsive shoppers, compulsive eaters, and even those with addictions to porn.

What stood out to me in this paper was how they observed that 12 step sessions cause many to want to “act out” after the meetings were over. Specifically they wrote about the pornography groups as this was seemingly most obvious. It explained the nonsensical nature of putting 8-12 or more men in a circle and having them talk about pornography. What they liked about it, how it made them feel, past experiences and more. The study revealed what most non-experts would predict: Many were going to get turned on or ‘restimulated’ in such a setting and as a result would have the urge to use again after such a session.

What is so interesting here is that this is exactly what is happening today in most drug and alcohol rehab centers across the US. More than 9 in 10 treatment programs use this style of therapy and what those patients experience is no different. I hear this now, over many years, as people say they felt great prior to arriving at rehab or a local AA or NA meeting and then afterwards simply had to go have a drink or use the drug of choice. It was just too much for them to sit and listen and become immersed in the past like that again and again and hearing all the stories. The urge was fired up and became too great and then they relapse.

Sadly, drug dealers know this, too. Ask anyone who goes to regular AA or NA meetings and they’ll tell you that dealers are often in the parking lot waiting for people to get out for just this reason. I believe this to be a large part of why traditional / disease-based model drug rehab treatment using the 12 step model have such low success rates.

    Non 12 Step Rehab

Over the years I have come to find that Non 12 step rehab programs understand all of this and are antipathetic to the common rehab model. First, there is no group therapy in non 12 step rehab treatment; it’s all one on one counseling. This eliminates the problem of group restimulation and all that follows. A non group therapy also allows for a deeper address to the underlying issues that cause the addiction. Second, non 12 step rehab centers do not recognize the concept that the person is somehow diseased and incurable – which is a key part to the common 12 step model.

The downsides are that non 12 step drug rehabs are much harder to find. Also, most classify them as long term rehab due to being 90 days or so in length (as compared to traditional 28 day programs). But that said, when people return from these centers they no longer have their addictions and consequently no longer need a life-long regiment of group therapy sessions at their local AA or NA locations.

This is why many today are finding that the extra effort to locate a non 12 step rehab program and any extra time required for treatment is a small price to pay for real help.

Massage Addiction – Are You at Risk?

As a massage therapist, I work hard to earn repeat customers by way of offering a great service at a price that reflects value for money.

Getting to know a customer and their likes and dislikes over time makes the massage much more easier. Massaging is a highly personal service so any familiarity built over time, helps both the massage therapist and the client relax into what is a very enjoyable experience.

Where there is no ‘standard’ rate of frequency for being massaged, most Massage Therapists would suggest one massage per month is a standard rate of frequency for a repeat customer. More sessions may be required depending on whether an injury or health concern is being treated.

So what happens when a customer starts booking massages weekly, or twice per week, for no reason other than they just ‘like being massaged and massaged by you in particular. In any other profession, accelerated frequency of a customer is a welcome event. In the world of massage, it may actually cause concern to the Massage Therapist.

Could this customer be addicted to massage? If they are, is this a negative thing?

One often associates addition to what are regarded as negative habits – smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, excessive gambling, etc. Or, addiction is often associated to events that give people a ‘rush’ of sorts. High impact sports, bungee jumping, sky diving, etc. But massage? The act of being pampered into slumber!

If we break it down, my belief is that our society has become one where ‘touching’ others is at the very least, avoided – think about the discomfort of standing close to others in an elevator, or how one says ‘sorry’ when they accidentally touch by someone in the street (well most of the time). Consider how we bustle for our own patch of turf on public transport. How we act in the workplace is highly regulated and ‘touching’ of any type may point toward sexual harassment. I don’t disagree with the need to protect all in a workplace against any form of discrimination.

Human beings are programmed to be social – we seek community and we seek the company of others.

Now think about a person, who is either single or in a non affectionate ‘non touching’ relationship. They wake up and go to work and in every instance where they have ‘touched’ someone albeit accidentally, they apologise.

It is actually possible that some people in our society today go through whole days, or even months and never get ‘purposely touched’ in a positive, healing, way by someone.

Could some be using massage as a way of simply being touched? Where does someone go who yearns being touched in a non sexual, healing, pampering way go?

In a society where touching is avoided, discouraged or legislated against, one can see how easily some may become addicted to what in its essence, is a basic human need – being touched.

Sports Betting Odds For the NBA

Betting in sports is enticing for any sports enthusiast; besides that it spices up the game even more with all those screaming bettors around you, it can be a rewarding leisure that boasts of lump sum of cash winnings. Nevertheless, what are the sports betting odds for something like the NBA?

If you based it on sports book, sports betting odds are generally unaffected or fixed. They say nothing can be done to effect change. But other sports enthusiasts believe otherwise. They consider the possibilities of maximizing the sports betting odds and successful chances to hit big time in sports betting, whether in the NBA or any other sport in the United States.

The first thing to consider is to have a sports betting system to rely on, which helps you sift through different games and identify where to bet best. By doing so, you have higher chances in sports betting odds by 97% for any NBA game. But still never bet your whole bankroll in one game. So how do you know which system works for your game?

There are online sports betting experts that can hand out pieces of advices that can assist you in every bet that you make on a game. Although they are not saying that by having a workable system, you are not liable anymore to losses in any game. There is risk wherever you are at, but having an effective system lowers your risk on terrible betting losses and increases your sports betting odds. These sports betting systems are good enough to be used universally, as long as sports betting are deemed legal.

Betting in games is so far not completely regarded as a legal form of gambling, because there are countries that still find such form as unethical and illegal in their state laws. Do we have to blame such states? No, despite their love for games such as the NBA, they find many of their people addicted to the idea of betting to the point of having to lose everything that his family has. This is where they draw the line for their laws, similar to restricting having casinos in their premises.

But it does not happen to everybody else; that is why in the United States sports betting is open and available. Drawing the line between addiction and balanced betting already depends on the hands of the bettor. Besides, sports betting has always been considered as a moneymaking opportunity for all citizens, without having to leave the comforts of your home or spend endless hours working at night.

If you want better sports betting odds in all NBA games, finding a good betting system is easy, so long as you pay enough attention to details being served on the internet. Upon taking hold of what you think should be your betting system, nothing can stop you from deserving successive wins in the games of betting. Well, of course, be reminded that it also takes some smarts to get ahead in every bet of every game.
